Inaugural Polar Express Season a Success!

The Galveston Railroad Museum would like to thank all the visitors and staff who contributed to The Polar Express™ Train Ride in Galveston, TX this year. During its’ inaugural year, over 31,000 people rode the Polar Express™ between the months of November and December in Galveston. The event began with a member pre-sale on August 22, where over 5,000 tickets were sold. The event opened for general ticket sales on August 26th, and nearly sold out in less than 8 hours! The museum leased 3 additional train cars from John Radovich in Dallas, TX, bringing the total number of train cars to 6.
