Self-guided tour. At least 1 hour recommended for touring the museum. Last admission sold 30 minutes prior to closing.

Entrance: Both Museum entrances are wheelchair accessible. The Museum's Parking lot at 2602 Santa Fe Place has handicap parking available.

Exhibits: All display buildings and the historic depot are accessible. The rail yard itself is accessible with sidewalk paths, however, due to the historic nature of the trains, the rail cars are not wheelchair accessible and do require a few steps to enter. Narrow hallways inside the trains may also restrict the use of wheelchair and walkers.

Restrooms: All restrooms are accessible.

Seating: Seating is available in the climate-controlled depot. Additionally, seating throughout the rail cars may be used as a rest area. 

Audio Tours

The audio tour includes approximately 55 minutes of audio guiding listeners through 22 stops in the museum. The audio stops give exclusive content covering the history of the museum and various railcars in the railyard. The audio tour price is in addition to museum admission.
