Museum Staff

David Robertson, Executive Director

David is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Galveston Railroad Museum.  He has a deep understanding and knowledge of visitor experience, events, and the hospitality industry, specifically relating to Galveston.  David attended Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, Texas before moving to Galveston in 1996.  His decades of experience are a boon to the museum.

Jennifer Kelso, Marketing Director

Born and raised in the DFW area, Jennifer moved to Galveston in January of 2001.  The minute she realized she could wear flip-flops year-round Galveston became home. She is a 2005 graduate of Texas A&M Galveston.  Jennifer has worked in the Marketing field for 20 years in Lubbock and the Houston-Galveston area. Jennifer started with the Museum in June 2018 and is responsible for public relations and marketing for the Railroad Museum as well as coordinating any special events like field trips, birthday parties, and weddings.
